Meet Tom

Tom Pasma is a small business owner, rancher, nonprofit leader, and proud progressive Democrat. Tom and his wife Sue run Double S Quarter Horse Ranch. Wearing many hats, Tom has committed to making our district and state a better place.

  • As a rancher, he received accolades for his commitment to implementing green energy on his ranch, and has been promoted as a model of sustainability in agriculture by Governor Inslee.
  • As a private citizen, he has spearheaded legislative efforts to create a state program that fosters the next generation of farmers, and has helped landowners overcome unfair tax burdens.
  • As a nonprofit leader, he has raised millions of dollars as a volunteer auctioneer for organizations such as Boys and Girls Clubs, Friendship House, 4-H, and the American Quarter Horse Foundation. He founded an organization called Leadership Education and Advanced Development (LEAD) which connects professional athletes with youth to mentor them in developing leadership skills.
  • As a volunteer firefighter, Tom is committed to making sure public safety is funded throughout our state.
